Do you like octopus? I don’t. I’ve had it. It’s like chewing rubber. You chew, chew, chew, chew, and out of desperation, you swallow! Yuck. BUT, I guarantee that you and your kids will like the kind of octopus I’m posting about today.
TIP: To make it semi-healthy, use all-beef hot dogs, and whole wheat pasta!
Here’s how you do it! Simply cut your hot dogs into bite size pieces. Then get your kids to help you poke several uncooked spaghetti noodles through the hot dogs. Cook them in a pot of boiling water, as you would cook spaghetti noodles. Once cook, strain and arrange them on your kiddo’s plate. Voila, you’ve got yummy octopus!
My son and his friend couldn’t stop eating these until they were all gone. The only thing I’ll change next time? I’ll make more!

This hotdog idea looks awesome, but I want to say that the octopus you had was not cooked properly. If prepared right, it’s not chewy at all, it’s tender, mild-flavored, and delicious. Just saying.
Oh really? I only had it once, in a restaurant overseas. It’s good to know that I didn’t have it prepared right! I couldn’t understand how people like to eat it otherwise!
