With cooler weather coming, I’ve been craving hot chocolate. Why buy a mix when its so easy to make your own?! 🙂 Leftovers are delicious cold from the fridge!

1/3 cup baking cocoa*
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups water
4 1/2 cups milk
Mix cocoa, sugar and salt in saucepan; stir in water. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered for 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in milk. Heat just until hot (do not boil because skin will form on top). Beat with hand beater until foamy, or stir until smooth.
*You can also use 3oz unsweetened baking chocolate, melt in saucepan with water until mixture is melted and smooth.
